Pollution has always been an issue in multiple manufacturing/mining industries. Even when corporations abide to all regulations and complete all necessary environmental assessments, the pollutant produced could still be very harmful to the environment.
AAD was able to acquire a patented eco-friendly gold refinery technology that creates no hazardous waste and is more efficient than traditional methods while reducing the overall cost of the procedure. AAD will be cooperating with AU79 Mining & Energy Ltd. in Papua New Guinea(PNG) in establishing refineries within PNG that utilizes this eco-friendly procedure, with the vision of expanding globally, providing the gold refinery industry an alternative method that leaves less burden for the environment.

Reducing pollution is one way to fight climate change, however, as suggested by multiple sources, the best way to fight climate change is through Natural Based Solutions (NBS) projects. With the 775,832.94 Ha of forest that AAD holds, we estimate to reduce 7 million tonnes of carbon emission per year from the atmosphere.
In line with our definition of a truly successful development project, in that it needs to not only be sustainable, but also provides a positive impact on those affected by it, our development projects consistently include the locals within our consideration. In our Maluku Forest Projects, through employing locals to assist us in the cultivation of crops with high economical value, we estimate that it will provide thousands of job opportunities and enabling them to have a income level on par with those of the cities. Furthermore, AAD will assist the locals in the establishment of infrastructures, donating to schools, creating local clinics, and providing funds/loans for local developments.
