285,159 Hectares ofVerified Carbon Conservation
Asia Assets Development operates Verra-registered forest restoration and conservation projects across Indonesia — delivering measurable climate impact with community co-benefits.
Why Asia AssetsDevelopment?
Asia Assets Development Co., Ltd. is a carbon credit developer operating across Indonesia. We combine local expertise with international standards to deliver high-integrity carbon credits that protect critical ecosystems and support the communities who depend on them.
All projects leverage the latest Verra methodologies (VM0047 and VM0010) and use advanced monitoring technologies, including LiDAR and SMART patrol systems. Each project operates under formal Indonesian legal frameworks (Social Forestry/PBPH), ensuring long-term operational control and clear carbon rights.

Indonesian-Based Team
Deep local knowledge and established community relationships across three Indonesian provinces.
Three Ecosystem Types
Rare portfolio breadth spanning forest, peatland, and mangrove conservation in a single region.
PS License Approach
Government-backed Social Forestry licenses providing long-term legal protection for project areas.
End-to-End Development
Full project lifecycle management from baseline assessment through credit issuance and sale.
Our Focus Areas
Across every project, we target measurable outcomes in four key areas.
Forest & Trees
Protecting primary rainforests and implementing sustainable forestry practices that preserve biodiversity while supporting local economies.
Poverty Alleviation
Creating sustainable livelihoods for local communities through conservation projects, training programs, and fair compensation schemes.
ARR Projects
Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation initiatives that restore degraded lands and expand Indonesia's forest cover.
Peatland Restoration
Rewetting and rehabilitating degraded peatlands to prevent fires, reduce emissions, and restore critical carbon sinks.
Our Mission
To protect and restore Indonesia's vital ecosystems through high-quality carbon credit projects that deliver measurable environmental benefits while improving the lives of local communities.
Our Vision
A future where Indonesia's forests, peatlands, and mangroves thrive as protected carbon sinks, supporting biodiversity and sustainable development for generations to come.
Measurable EnvironmentalResults
Our projects span over 285,000 hectares across Indonesia, preserving critical ecosystems and supporting 159 partner villages.
Commitment toQuality & Transparency
Our projects adhere to the highest international standards for carbon credit development, ensuring rigorous measurement, independent verification, and transparent reporting.
Third-Party Verified Carbon Credits
Every carbon credit from our projects undergoes independent validation and verification by accredited third-party auditors. We believe transparency and rigor are the foundation of trust in voluntary carbon markets.
View on Verra RegistryVCS
The world's most widely used voluntary GHG program. Our projects are registered under Verra's VCS to ensure rigorous carbon accounting and transparency.
CCB
Projects are evaluated for positive climate, community, and biodiversity impacts beyond carbon, ensuring holistic environmental and social benefits.
VM0047
Methodology for quantifying GHG emission removals from afforestation, reforestation, and revegetation (ARR) activities on degraded and deforested lands.
VM0010
Methodology for quantifying GHG emission reductions from improved forest management (IFM), including conversion of logging concessions into protected status.
Earthood
Independent third-party validation and verification of project design, monitoring reports, and emission reduction claims.
Carbon CreditDevelopment Lifecycle
From baseline assessment to credit issuance, every step follows internationally recognized standards to ensure the integrity and quality of our carbon credits.
Conservation ProjectsAcross Indonesia
Our portfolio includes four major projects spanning forest conservation, peatland restoration, and mangrove protection across three Indonesian provinces.

Gunung Mas Community Forest Restoration Project
This project aggressively reclaims critically degraded mining lands (ex-PETI) and scrubland using nitrogen-fixing pioneer species. It creates a vital "Emerald Corridor" for the Critically Endangered Bornean Orangutan and Sunda Pangolin.

West Seram REDD+ and Agarwood ForestWise Project
Focuses on the restoration of savanna, shrub, and degraded dryland farming areas. Features a unique silviculture system combining CITES-protected Agarwood restoration with high-protein legume tree companion planting and sustainable livestock husbandry.

Central Seram IFM RestorationWise Project
This project halts planned commercial logging across approximately 50,000 hectares to permanently protect biomass carbon stocks. It includes the creation of a world-class Agarwood sanctuary for endangered flora.

Tanimbar Community Forest Restoration Project
Strategically reforests degraded areas to reconnect fragmented forest patches across the Tanimbar archipelago. Provides direct habitat restoration for endemic species like the Tanimbar Corella and the Fawn-breasted Thrush.

Real ConservationMaking Real Impact
Every hectare we protect represents communities, ecosystems, and climate impact. Here are some of the stories behind the numbers.
Emerald Corridor in Gunung Mas
Reclaiming critically degraded mining lands using nitrogen-fixing pioneer species, creating a vital corridor for the Critically Endangered Bornean Orangutan and Sunda Pangolin. Gold Level CCB criteria with a Subsidized Rice Logistics Program serving 7,145 residents.
Halting Logging in Central Seram
Halting planned commercial logging across 50,000+ hectares to permanently protect biomass carbon stocks. Includes a world-class Agarwood sanctuary and Sustainable Income Generating Schemes transitioning the local economy from extraction to stewardship for 15,000+ residents.
Community Empowerment in Tanimbar
Empowering 23 community institutions through enhanced land tenure and micro-finance for green enterprises. Restoring 72 distinct watersheds to ensure water security for 38,933 people while providing habitat for the endemic Tanimbar Corella.
